Golden Oreo Cakesters

When I first made these cookies, I so happen to over-bake my sugar cookie recipe and when that happened, they puffed up beautifully. The edges were a nice golden brown and when cooled they retained a very soft and crumbly texture almost cake-like. The cookies are perfect as is but then I decided to fill them with a vanilla marshmallow type of buttercream, and it was the perfect combination. I only wish that I had made a chocolate cookie instead of a plain sugar cookie so I can experience what an actual Oreo cakester tastes like. one can only dream.... Red Velvet Brownies

First, I took out some of the cocoa powder from the recipe and subbed in for more flour. This was the perfect start because I didn't want the recipe to have too much chocolate flavor. Then I substituted the dark chocolate for white chocolate to give it a more blonde and velvety taste. Cake Goop

The Holy Grail when it comes to greasing your cake pans. No need to use cooking or baking sprays or butter and flouring your cake pans. Cake goop is universal and can be used for most, if not all baked goods. This recipe is very simple, and easy to make and only requires 3 ingredients that you might already have in the kitchen.
